ZOOM SETUP


Description

The VisibilityOne Zoom setup guide provides everything you need to become familiar with the steps required to begin your journey monitoring your Zoom rooms and users using your VisibilityOne. This guide will provide useful information for you to use in creating your Zoom requirements and entering the details into your VisibilityOne Dashboard.

1. Let’s get started - Log in

1.1 First, you will need to visit Zoom’s marketplace and “Sign In”. Visiting https://marketplace.zoom.us/


1.2 Once you successfully sign in, click on the “Develop” dropdown and select “Build App”


2. Create OAuth App

2.1 In the options presented, select the “Create” button contained in the OAuth section.


2.2 Next, a pop-up menu will appear. The following information should be selected and or entered…

App Name input field: Enter a unique app name, we recommend VisibilityOne-Integration

Chose app type: Select the “Account-level app” option

Market Place: In the section asking, “Would you like to publish this app on Zoom App Marketplace?”, please be sure to toggle the option left to disable.


2.3 Click “Create


3. Create OAuth App

3.1 In this menu, the Client ID and Client secret are generated automatically,

NOTE: Please copy the Client ID and Client secret information into your notepad, it will be used in a future step.


3.2 In the “Redirect URL for OAuth” and “Add allow list” input fields require you to enter the URL following URL https://api.visibility.one/zoom/authorizeZoomApp


3.3 Click “Continue


4. App Information

4.1 In the “App name” and “Short description” input fields, enter the app name previously created… VisibilityOne-Integration


4.2 In the “Long description” field, enter a simple description.

Recommended text… “The integration allows real-time A/V monitoring.”


Scroll down, DO NOT CLICK CONTINUE YET .


4.3 Next, after scrolling down to the developer contact information section, complete your contact name and email field.


4.4 Now click “Continue

5. Features

5.1 NOTE: Please copy the Secret Token information into your notepad, it will be used in a future step.


5.2 Toggle on “Event Subscriptions


5.3 Click on the “+ Add Event Subscription“ button.


5.4 In the Subscription name field, enter an event name.

We recommended that you enter… VisibilityOneEvents


5.5 Next Click on the “+ Add Events” button

6. Events

6.1 In the Pop-up view, select the following event types:

6.2 Meeting:

· Start Meeting

· Stop Meeting

· Meeting issues alert

6.3 Zoom Rooms:

· Zoom Room Alarmed

· Zoom Room Delayed Alerts

· Zoom Room Checked In

· Zoom Room Checked Out

· Zoom Room Sensor Data

6.4 User:

· User has been created

· User has been disassociated

· User has been deleted

· User has been deactivated

6.5 User Activity:

· User has signed in

· User has signed out

6.6 Total of 14 Added and click “Done


7. URL

7.1 You will now be taken back to the General Features section where you will need to populate the “Event notification endpoint URL” information. The next step (7.2) will guide you on how to obtain the URL from your VisibilityOne dashboard.

7.2 You will need to retrieve the URL from your dashboard by conducting the following steps…

2. Open the menu and navigate to Membership & Subscriptions

3. Open Zoom and copy the “Event Notification Endpoint URL:” located at the bottom of the screen.


7.3 Paste the URL into the Zoom “Event notification endpoint URL” input field

Click on the “Save” button

Click on the “Continue” button


8. Additional Events

8.1 Click on the “+ Add Scopes

8.2 Add the following scopes:

8.3 Recordings:

· View all user recordings

8.4 Dashboard:

· View all users’ usage statistics of CRC

· View overview of usage statistics for Meetings and Zoom Rooms

· View all users’ meetings information on Dashboard

· View all users’ Zoom Room usage statistics and information

8.5 Report:

· View Report data

8.6 Total of 9. Click “Done


9. Wrap-up

9.1 Click on the “Continue” button

9.2 Close your zoom web page, we will complete all other tasks in the VisibilityOne dashboard.


10. The End

10.1 Go to your dashboard by conducting the following steps…

2. Open the menu and navigate to Membership & Subscriptions

3. Open Zoom.


10.2 In previous steps you copied three items, now is the time to paste the information in the appropriate input fields…

CLIENT ID, CLIENT SECRET, and SECRET TOKEN


10.3 Click “Save”.


10.4 A popup will redirect you to Zoom to add the VisibilityOne-Integration application to access Zoom API’s. Click “Allow


10.5 Once you have successfully enabled the integration, you will see this screen and you can safely close it.
